Open Water Valve Deployed Successfully In Several Major Projects

We're pleased to report that, building on a strong commercial track record, Interventek’s Open Water Revolution Valve has been deployed in several subsea intervention projects for major international operators over the last 12 months.

Projects have included heavy intervention in over 2,000m water depth from a floating vessel offshore Brazil and a P&A programme for subsea gas wells offshore Israel.

In these projects our lightweight and compact API 17G qualified safety valve has been incorporated as a modular device within 3rd party intervention systems. Using a single Revolution valve can enable up to a 60% reduction in system size and weight and more flexibility for rapid redress, mobilisation and ease of deployment.

All our Revolution valve variants use separate internal cutting and sealing components for improved performance. The open water valves are available in single or dual cavity configurations and are suitable for sour service.
